Day 9 - The Beatitudes: 'Blessed are you when others revile you...'
Bible Verse: Matthew 5:11-12
We've reached the final part of The Beatitudes. Today's verses say
'Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.'
When we follow Yahusha, we may face hardships and insults, but Yahusha encourages us to rejoice for the reward waiting for us in heaven.
Imagine participating in a long, exhausting race. It's tiring, and sometimes, the other participants might jeer at you and try to discourage you. But you have a cheering squad - your family and most importantly, Yahuah. He’s cheering us on, and not only that—He promises a reward that's awaiting us at the finish line. The reward far outweighs the discomfort of the journey.
Let's take this to heart in our faith journey. No matter what others say or do, let's encourage one another and rejoice knowing that Yahuah is with us and our reward in heaven is immeasurable and eternal.
